Opticron releases their all-new aurora BGA VHD 8x42 and 10x42 binoculars
12 April 2021
Founded in the UK in 1970, Opticron is a family-owned business with fifty years’ experience in consumer optics. In that time, they have met and exceeded the demands of tens of thousands of people looking for a pair of quality affordable binoculars. The release of the new Aurora's promises to be a big one for the brand and customer alike...
Designed on a new platform with an entirely new optical system, the Aurora BGA VHD binoculars are on paper - right up there with the leading lightweight pro field binoculars available today. “Smaller, Lighter, Brighter, Sharper” says the brand, the Aurora BGA VHD 8x42 aims to seamlessly take the company’s design maxim to a new and even higher level than the DBA VHD+.
With performance, comfort, ergonomics and attention to detail equal or better than its sister model (DBA VHD+), the Aurora BGA VHD bino's delivers a wider 8.1° FOV, closer focus to 1.9m/6.2ft and a sweet spot so large it will surprise and delight even the most critical eyes.
We will be field testing the 10x42 versions within a few weeks, so stay tuned for that. In the meantime, here's a run down of the key features.
